Launched in 2019, the Storefront for Brownsville initiative is a series of pop-up markets designed and managed by the Pitkin Avenue BID in partnership with Brownsville Community Justice Center and local stakeholders. The pop-ups provide emerging local entrepreneurs affordable vending opportunities to test their business ideas, grow their customer base and fill existing retail gaps along the Pitkin Avenue and Belmont Avenue commercial corridors.
